3. Medical Marijuana
Position:
No position found to the question "Should marijuana be a medical option?"
4. Reasoning:

"Seventeen patients completed the RCT (randomized placebo-controlled crossover study). Cannabis was well tolerated, and had no pro- or antiparkinsonian action. There was no evidence for a treatment effect on levodopa-induced dyskinesia as assessed by the UPDRS, or any of the secondary outcome measures.

Conclusions: Orally administered cannabis extract resulted in no objective or subjective improvement in dyskinesias or parkinsonism." ("Cannabis For Dyskinesia In Parkinson Disease: A Randomized Double-blind Crossover Study," Neurology 2004)
